We are working to present Disney or famous movie themes for SongFest.

Come and join us this December 18th at 6:00 p.m.  



Fifth Grade:


Practice the choreography of the song “Somewhere Over the
     Rainbow” for the songfest presentation.  
 Students will have to dress up as one of the movie characters 
(It was assigned in class already).


Sixth Grade:

Practice the song “Hakuna Matata” from the movie
    The Lion King. 
    Students will have to dress up as one of the movie characters 
(It was assigned in class already).

Seventh Grade:

Practice the main theme of the movie “Star Wars”, with the
    guitar, for songfest.
Quiz on Monday, Nov.19
Students will have to dress up as one of the movie characters 
(It was assigned in class already).



Eighth Grade:

  Practice the song “We go together” from the movie “Grease”
                                              for the songfest.
Girls will use a long skirt, a blouse and black shoes with white socks; Boys will wear blue jeans, white T-Shirt and a leather black jacket, resembling the 70’s fashion.


Ninth Grade:

Students will make music out of unusual sources. They will practice rhythmical patterns with non-musical instruments to create  “Stop Rhythms” for the song fest presentation. 
Students will wear jeans and yellow, red or blue T-Shirt.    

Ninth graders will share a potluck Thanksgiving LUNCH during lunch time this coming Wednesday, November 21st. Everybody was assigned with a special dish for the occasion.
