Students from grades 5 -12 will attend the Opera at The Manuel Bonilla Theater.
Dress Code: Formal pants or skirt, formal blouse or shirt and formal shoes.
PLEASE NO jeans, tennis or shorts.
Students need to bring the money to the music department no later than March 1, 2013.
Our CHOIR will travel to San Pedro Sula on Feb. 21 -24 to participate in the 2013 National ABSH Music Festival . Vocal and Piano Soloists will also attend.
5th, 6th Grades
1. Students will present their "Opera
Books", talking about the most important aspects of an
Opera.
2. Will analyze LA TRAVIATA act by act, to understand
the story and characters.
7th,
8th, 9th
Vocal music.
Students will
work in pairs selecting a popular song to sing in class. They will be allow to
use an instrumental track or play it with any accompaniment instrument. (Guitar or
piano)

CHOIR GALA PRESENTATION –
Our choir has been invited to be a part of a fund-raising gala in benefit of the CRISTO DEL PICACHO FOUNDATION this Friday, March 1. Furthermore, some of our students will be dancing in this gala as part of their dance companies. The gala will take place in the Convention Center of the Honduras Maya Hotel, and will air live on the Televicentro channels at 9:00 p.m.
