6th Grade
(Folkloric album Due date: Sept. 11) 

To honor Honduras independence month  we will make a 
FOLKLORIC ALBUM in class. 

We will talk about Honduran music, costumes, traditions and types of folklore. The students will write examples of each of these activities with a corresponding illustrations to make the album. 


Please bring the following materials to class in order to start working this week:

Construction paper
scissors 
glue stick 
markers or colors 
PICTURES of different Honduran activities to illustrate the examples. 

Class work is important in this project!


7th GRADE

Students will work on music theory this week. 
1. The will write notes in the lines and spaces as well as different musical figures in the scales. 
2. We will use up and down Ledger Lines  

The staff notebook is required this week 



8th GRADE 
(Piano history essay Monday Aug. 17)

Students will work on music theory this week. 
1. The will write notes in the lines and spaces as well as different musical figures in the scales. 
2. Learn how to read "F" clef notes , to read keyboard scores.

9th GRADE 
(Music and other subjects essay DUE: Tuesday Aug.18) 

We are talking about how music is related to other subjects.
