6th Grade
Students will continue working on playing harmonic circles with the guitar.

7th GRADE
Students are working on playing easy guitar duets. One of them will play the accompaniment and the other will play the melody of the song.
8th Grade
(due date: Wednesday 22nd)
Students are working on popular musical genres. Each student selected a popular singer to built a wax museum of artists. They will talk about the artist life as well as the genre he/she represents.
9th Grade
Students are working on playing instruments on ensemble. They selected a popular song to be performed in class.
MAP TESTING – Our second MAP testing session will take place from Tuesday, January 21 to Friday, February 10.
FROM THE DPTO – PLEASE MARK YOUR CALENDARS – The DPTO has been working very hard to organize the traditional Movie Event for Discovery School families. This year, it will take place at NOVACENTRO on Sunday, February 9 at 11:00 a.m. for the presentation of THE LEGO MOVIE

REMINDER FOR PARENTS – Please take note that the passing grade according to the Ministry of Education is 70%. If your child scored less that 70% in the final grade for the second quarter, then he/she needs to take a recuperation exam scheduled for Saturday, January 25.
